Sir Rodney has been a member of the city guard for as long as anyone in Fallcrest can remember. He doesn’t particularly care for adventuring types, presumably because they tend to be glory (and treasure) hounds while the city guard labors day to day to keep the town safe. He’s been tasked with organizing security for the Superior Bowle, and is now forced into close contact with the worthless dregs of society that pass for heroes these days.
